• Ask your local officials to proclaim April as Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention month. Plan a proclamation event and invite local media.
• Write a press release and send to local newspapers and radio and television stations.
• Organize a family day at your local museum or zoo.
• Put together displays and and place them in local libraries, business and other places that support parents.
• Promote the blue ribbon and child abuse prevention at any event your organization coordinates.
